The Echo Tree is planted in the graveyard of Henry David Thoreau, Louisa May Alcott, and Ralph Waldo Emerson.
My Name is Sue, and while visiting Boston and learning more about my idol, Henry David Thoreau, I visited his grave. I was scattered with little notes and gifts, but what stuck to me the most was a tree near the graveyard. At the base of the tree, there was a plaque that read, the Echo Tree. And something about it intrigued me. And so forth, the Echo Tree.
